Meet Tooting Arts Club and the Project Associates

Tooting Arts Club in an award-winning site-specific theatre company based in South London.  In addition their successful theatre productions, TAC has also hosted music, poetry and comedy nights and several pop-up cinema events within the SW17 postcode. Accompanying every production, TAC has run school drama workshops for key stage 5 and 6, as well as many post-show talks, events and workshops within the community.

Who Cares? is Tooting Arts Club’s first oral history project with funding from the National Heritage Lottery Fund. We put together a team of associates to create and run the project.

Through her leadership of Tooting Arts Club, Rachel Edwards has extensive skills in theatre-making, production, publicity, budgeting, project management.  She successfully transferred two of TAC’s productions to the West End and one to New York City.   

Sasha Neal is a videographer and sound recorder with over 15 years experience of interviewing, editing and facilitation. She has created audio-visual content for clients such as Arts Award, Southwark Council, Booktrust and Fulham Football Club Foundation. Sasha has completed Level 2 and 3 courses in Counselling with the CPCAB. Sasha was previously Literature Education Officer at the Southbank Centre for four years. She has a certificate in Reminiscence work from Wandsworth NHS.

Lynsey McCall obtained a BA Hons in Contemporary Theatre and Performance, later gaining Qualified Teacher Status through Middlesex University. She has had experience as a Head of Drama in inner London secondary schools for the last decade. More recently,

Lynsey has trained and worked with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, One Day Creative and Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation, expanding her reach in using actor’s tools to develop the skills of others.
